UK’s Annual Home Education Appreciation Day (AHEAD) is going to be on Monday, August 6^th from 9:45 am-3:15 pm. This is a great opportunity for homeschooling students and parents to come to campus and learn more UK!

Tenative Schedule:

9:00 a.m.: Check-in Open, Location: UK Main Building

 9:45 a.m: Welcome and Admissions Presentation, Location: Lexmark Room in Main Building

 10:15 a.m.: Honors College Presentation, Location: Lexmark Room

 10:45 a.m.: Living Learning Program Presentation, Location: Lexmark Room

 11:00 a.m.: Campus Tour  *Students and parents will go on a 60-minute walking tour around campus*

 12:00 p.m.: Complimentary Lunch, Location: Champions Kitchen (Gatton Student Center)

1:00 p.m: Student Panel, Location: Senate Chambers (Gatton Student Center)

*Students and parents will be able to ask current UK students (who were homeschooled) about their experience at UK*

1:30 p.m.: Financial Aid Presentation, Location: Senate Chambers (Gatton Student Center)

 2:15-3:15 p.m.: College/Resource Fair, Location: Grand Ballroom A (Gatton Student Center) *Students and parents will have the chance to talk with college representatives and campus organizations*                

*Information about parking will be sent closer to the event. You will receive free parking in one of our structures on campus*
